Effective Fall 2007 the offices of Student Financial Assistance and Student Accounting Services have adopted a policy concerning the financial privacy of students at Eastern Kentucky University.

EKU students must give written consent by completion of the  Authorization to Release Financial Information Form to the Student Financial Assistance Office in order for any type of financial aid, scholarship or billing/account information to be discussed with persons other than the student via phone, in person, or by U.S. and electronic mail.  This authorization form does not allow the university to release academic information. The authorization form may be accessed at www.finaid.eku.edu and select "Forms".   The authorization is in effect until revoked in writing by the student to the EKU Student Financial Assistance Office.
