Policies - Consortium/Concurrent

Students who are enrolled at EKU and another institution (Concurrent) or at another school only (Consortium) and wish to apply for Federal financial assistance must complete an EKU Consortium/Concurrent agreement form.

The Division of Student Financial Assistance will process aid for consortium/concurrent students who meet the following conditions:

The course(s) the student is enrolled for is not a repeat, audit, or an independent study.

The course(s) must transfer back to EKU and be required for the student's degree.

The student must be taking the course(s) at a Kentucky College or University. Out-of-state schools may be approved through the Director for students in unusual circumstances.

Student has not received aid for a previous consortium course which was not completed.

Student is not already enrolled full-time at EKU during the term for which the consortium is requested.

A complete Consortium Agreement was received at EKU by the last day of the drop/add period for the appropriate term.
